Cedars Bellavia (Laheeb x Cedars KenyaCatchMe by Cedars Mojave) was a life-long dream come true. Born April 20th, 2007 at Furioso Farm in California, this beautiful, grey filly immediately captured our hearts, and we knew she was destined for a bright future. She was the perfect combination of Laheeb’s legendary sweet disposition, charisma, and athletic ability, and Cedars KenyaCatchMe’s (Kenya) exotic beauty and exquisite conformation.
In 2011, Bellavia caught the eye of international breeder, Davide Mariani, when Raymond Mazzai shared a video of her. With Raymond’s recommendation and professional assistance, Bellavia would soon make the journey to her new home in Italy as the foundation mare of Mariani Arabians.
Bellavia would soon prove herself as a top-quality broodmare producing several outstanding Straight Egyptian foals for Davide, who have now produced magnificent foals of their own.
Sadly, Bellavia recently passed away peacefully at her beloved home in Italy. We share our deepest sympathy with Davide and all who loved her. Her legacy will live on for future generations as her magnificent progeny make their mark on Straight Egyptian history.
