  • Cedars Mojave won Blue Ridge Arabian Horse Association High Point Awards in November 2014: Reserve Champion -- Purebred Sport Horse in Hand, and Third -- Purebred 5 and Older.

  • Mojave was shown twice in 2014 by trainer Larry Jones:

    • Region 15 Championships--Champion, Arabian Sport Horse in Hand Stallions, Dressage Type; Top 5, Arabian Senior Stallion Breeding, 6 & Older

  • We are delighted to report that the lovely Spanish Arabian mare, VCL Illeenda (SS Orion X HMA Maleenda) had a beautiful chestnut filly by Cedars Mojave. Lilly is owned by Colleen and Vern Lochausen of Hollywood, MD.

  • Our mares, Cedars KenyaCatchMe (Botswana X CDRS Farah Moniet), Cedars Rajiyyah (Makhsous X CDRS Farah Moniet), and Mojave's dam RSA Sahra Nazeem (BB Akeem X Ilehnisa Azeem) are boarded in Mebane, NC, with our daughter Kim Nylander's mare, Cedars Kasane (Botswana X Shalom Sabbath). We are happy to be nearby in Hillsborough. We plan to breed Kenya and Rajiyyah (and Kasane via embryo transfer) to Mojave in spring 2016.

  • Imperial ImSirdar (Ansata Imperial X Imperial Sonbesjul X *Serenity Sonbolah), our foundation stallion, sadly passed away in May 2013.   Sirdar was a triple dressage champion at the Egyptian Event in 2002, and had several halter wins to his credit. He is well represented by his 2008 son, Cedars Mojave (x RSA Sahra Nazeem), who is very typey, leggy, perfectly conformed, and moves boldly with great style and charisma. See Liz Salmon's evaluation of Mojave here.
  • Our dear mare and best friend, CDRS Farah Moniet (Imperial ImSirdar X AK Farette) died of colic early Sunday morning, May 17, 2009. Farah produced many beautiful fillies and her first colt in 2008, Ninjah Al Laheeb.  Farah was my personal riding horse, my babysitter who looked out for me, my sweet friend.   I will miss her. Sadly, Ninjah died three months later of complications from antibiotic treatment.
  • The beautiful Cedars Amirat Al Alwan (True Colours X CDRS Farah Moniet) was exported in 2009 to the country of Qatar.  Amira was purchased in September 2008 by Hassan Ali Hassan Al Matwi .  Although we will miss Amira's sweet greetings, we congratulate and wish her new owner the very best.  Sincere thanks to Liz Salmon for making this sale possible.
