PARTIAL LEASING A LESSON HORSE

If you are not ready to buy your own horse, but want to ride more than once/week, consider partial-leasing a lesson horse. You can ride "your" horse in a lesson and in an unsupervised practice ride once a week, and visit to groom any time. NOTE: Always ride with someone or make arrangements for someone to be with you. RIDING A LESSON HORSE IN A SHOW

Students may "borrow" a lesson horse to show. A liability waiver and one-time lease with acceptance of responsibility are required. Transportation fee will be charged: $50 loading plus $1.00/mile. Fees may be split between riders.

BOARDING in Frederick, MD (see contract at left): We will have 3 stalls available October 1, 2011
- Indoor & outdoor arenas (scheduled use)
- Lessons available, excellent instruction
- Beautiful, quiet, friendly environment
- Regularly scheduled farrier; vaccination/deworming protocols
- Fly Predators used April-September
- Automatic payment by credit card
- Owner lives on premises
Full Board -- $525/month includes
- 12 X 12 wooden, matted stalls, cleaned daily
- Feeding excellent grains & hay 2-4 times/day
- Daily pasture turnout, supplemented with hay as needed
- Optional (fee charged): blanketing, unblanketing, fly masks on and off, holding for vet or farrier
Limited Field Board, geldings only -- $350
- Run-in shed
- Round bales as needed
- Feeding grain 2 times daily
- Optional (fee charged): blanketing, unblanketing, fly masks on and off, holding for vet or farrier

DISCOUNTS:

    Family--10% discount for second, third, etc., members of the same family
    Groups--4H members with 4 students in a class, $35/class/student
                         or $210 each for 6-week session

NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT: Lessons are paid in advance per session. Please prepare to pay for your next session on the last day of your current session. For example, if you are taking group lessons, your last lesson is #6; if you are taking private lessons, your last lesson is #4. For your convenience, we can arrange authorized payment by credit card Visa, Mastercard, Discover.

CANCELLATIONS: 24-hour notice is required to cancel a lesson
without charge.
