Exquisite beauty Superb breeding Superb body and legs Charisma to spare Extraordinary opportunity!! Congratulations & best wishes to new owner Hassan Ali Hassan Al Matwi of Qatar! Our sincere appreciation to Liz Salmon for making this sale possible.
Amira's perfect body, her charisma, her big European-style movement, and her extraordinary beauty set her apart as unique and highly desirable. See more photos of Amira in her Photo Gallery, below. Her internationally acclaimed champion sire, True Colours, won Senior Champion Stallion at the May 2008 Wels, Austria, International Championships. The multi-champion and prepotent sire of champions, True Colours has been exported to Italy. We hope to rebreed Amira's dam, CDRS Farah Moniet, to True Colours in 2009. In September 2008, Amira won Champion Mare at the Fall Classic in Lexington, VA. In August 2008, Fernando Poli led Amira to Eastern Arabian Horse Show Reserve Senior Champion Mare, then Reserve Grand Champion Mare. Amira placed Top Five at the subsequent East Coast Championships, equivalent to a regional championship show. In 2007, European handler Johanna Ullstrom led Amira to a Top Five in halter at the prestigious 2007 Las Vegas Breeders World Cup. Amira was evaluated October 31, 2006, as a yearling by equine appraiser and international judge, Liz Salmon, as "Extremely typey...Excellent free movement and presence...In my opinion this is a top quality, correctly conformed and very typey show filly, who should be able to win anywhere in the world. She has a lovely disposition." Click here to read the entire evaluation.
